A memorable day on Tuesday 11th of June 2019, CCG completed the design and documentation for Mt. Druitt Police Station, which was recently handed over to NSW Police. A Traditional Aboriginal Smoking Ceremony was performed by Senior Darug, Lexodious Dadd from the Cannemegal clan on the day of the hand over.

Mt. Druitt Police Station Man in red shirt leads a smoking ceremony before a crowd of police, officials and onlookers outside a modern building.

The Smoking Ceremony is an ancient Aboriginal custom in Australia which involves the burning of various native plants. The smoke produced is to cleanse and ward off bad spirits from the people and the land, and make a pathway for a brighter future.
