This project provided a purpose built, dedicated training facility for NSWPF staff at Goulburn Police Academy.

The building consist of 2 stories with a mezzanine gantry level and COLA. The ground level will consist of flexible scenario spaces, matt room, equipment/storage rooms and amenities for staff and students.

The first floor includes a fully flexible scenario space with various connections to the ground level including stairs and voids. The mezzanine provides a gantry level for observation and monitoring by staff coordinating the training sessions. A COLA is connected to the building to allow for outdoor scenarios.

The state-of-the-art structure enhances the NSW Police Force capability to respond to active armed offender incidents and other high-risk events. The training is in-line with the world’s best practice but modified to Australian standards.

The facility is used as a design template for future NSW Police Force operational training venues.
