CCG Architects were engaged by AW Edwards to provide Architectural Services to design additional car parking accommodation for various commuting sites for TfNSW. The completed multi-storey car park at Merrylands Station was opened to the public as of August 2018.

The existing multi-storey car park at Merrylands Station has been improved for daily commuters, with an additional 95 parking spaces across two locations, which were delivered as a multi-storey at Terminal Place and as an at-grade at Railway Terrace. 

Adjacent to Merrylands Station and Bus Interchange, an additional three (3) level multi-deck carpark was constructed providing 70 additional parking spaces, which includes six (6) new accessible parking spaces.

In addition to the parking spaces, the provision for easy access to transportation was integrated into the design with the provision of new lifts and stairs leading from the existing and new car park to the station and bus interchange. 

The improvement of safety and security was also implemented during this project through installation of CCTV security cameras to the existing and by the new section of the car park.
