Eternity brings contemporary dining into the historic setting of Sydney’s Central Station. Engaged by hospitality operator Delaware North, CCG Architects guided the heritage and planning approvals for a new fitout within the station concourse, balancing the needs of a working venue with the protection of a significant interior.

The broader commission spanned three separate sites, requiring individual applications to the state heritage authority and City of Sydney Council. CCG prepared the Statements of Heritage Impact and Statements of Environmental Effects, coordinated stakeholders and helped resolve consent conditions through to completion. Central to this work was achieving agreement on interventions that minimised impacts on the historic fabric while supporting service and the guest experience.

CCG’s involvement also included an interpretive display incorporating objects from the Transport for NSW Heritage Collection, connecting the restaurant with the station’s history.

The name Eternity honours Arthur Stace, whose handwritten copperplate inscription became a familiar presence on Sydney’s streets and footpaths.
